Trying to keep the momentum going on chipping away at this huge backlog of images I haven’t posted here yet. This set was shot at a local park (Neck Point Park) in early October just before as the leaves were beginning to turn and during the last few minutes of evening sunlight so we had a nice, strong, directional light. Normally this would be the ‘Golden Hour’ when the light makes a nice warm orange glow, but that isn’t really captured in these IR images.
I have to give much credit to my model, the talented Rachel Simmons, for her wonderful posing and for putting up with me while I experimented with different angles and settings.
Anyway, here are the shots!.
As you can see, aside from the normal white foliage and darkened skies, her skin has taken on an soft glow that wouldn’t normally be visible and her dress has actually completely lost the floral pattern that was visible in the normal spectrum. It has also made her tattoos really stand out from her skin.
